This is a personal project that grew around the idea of extinct species, and wanting to remember them.

I wanted to explore the idea of a sculptor who traveled around the world to leave behind statues of species that have now gone extinct. Perhaps many years later after his passing, a young relative will find a notebook covering his journey, and she also tries to make the same journey in remembrance of him.
